Marte (Mae) Loevaas – Physiotherapist
Mae completed her Bachelor of applied science (Physiotherapy) at The University of Sydney with Honours Class I. She has experience in various different areas within physiotherapy, including musculoskeletal injuries, neurological conditions and orthopaedic rehabilitation. As a result, Mae has developed clinical skills to treat many different types of injuries and conditions. She also has experience working with different age groups as she has a background working in aged care and child care.
During her honors program, Mae developed research about exercise in Parkinson’s disease. As a result, she has a great deal of knowledge about this topic and is passionate about evidence-based treatment.
Mae has a special interest in sports injuries and is currently looking after the Ryde-Eastwood Hawks Rugby team. From growing up in Norway she was exposed to various different sports including winter sports and European handball. Currently, Mae is mostly involved in running.
