Japie Kruger – Physiotherapist
We are delighted to have Japie Kruger joining us as part of our NDPE Team!
His ethos follows that of the entire team at Northern Districts Physiotherapy & Sports Clinic – that it is as important to establish the root cause of the problem and not just treat the symptoms!
Japie Kruger has been a physiotherapist for over 10 years and has worked very closely with numerous high-profile sporting teams and athletes including sports such as rugby, cricket, hockey, netball, athletics, triathlon, swimming, cycling, squash and many more. He worked in a Sport and Orthopaedic clinic together with Orthopaedic specialists focussing on specific joint surgery of the Spine (back), Hip, Knee, Shoulder, Hand and Foot. Japie is currently completing his Master’s degree in Physiotherapy and believes evidence-based practice and a great deal of experience to be the winning recipe when it comes to being the best!
Japie is passionate about the human body, how it works and how to optimise it’s function. He is always intent on addressing the problems that might arise from activities of daily living as well as having a particular interest in those arising from sport. Japie has always been an active sportsman, competing in a variety of sports he recently represented South Africa at the 70.3 Ironman World Championships. His love for Triathlon has grown over the last few years and his personal experience and love of his work has equipped him to be perfectly suited to analysing running and cycling technique, dynamics and training programs.
